All Four Seasons at Khali
Summers
In summers the climate is moderate
and very pleasant. Varieties of berries and fruits (right
from mulberries to plums and peaches) can be seen growing
in and around the Estate. It would be an exhilarating
experience at this time of the year. |
|
Monsoons
In the monsoons, there are occasional heavy showers
which make the scenic beauty of the place even more
picturesque. The Himalayas play hide and seek between
the thick veil of clouds, so the monsoon season would
make a perfect holiday for all the nature lovers. Light
woollens may be required. |
|
Autumn
Only for the light woollens which you would need in
the early mornings and evenings, the climate in autumn
during the day is extremely pleasant. Flowers blossoming
all around, birds chirping, all you would like to do
is lie on the hammock and read your favourite book or
simply glaze at the majestic Himalayas. Or sitting by
the warm fireside, you can relish the roasted chestnuts,
picked up from our orchard. |
|
Winters
You can celebrate Christmas and New Year in the winters
sitting by the warm fireside of the cozy drawing room
or if more adventurous you could have a bonfire outside
and can even enjoy the folk songs and the folk dance
of the local villagers with the food of your choice.
If lucky you could even witness a snow fall, only remember
to carry all your woollens. |
|
During spring the forest is blooming
with beautiful rhododendrons. It is just the right time
to come if you would like to see all the trees blossoming
with the bright flowers and more over you could taste
the local jam and juice made from rhododendrons.
